The Town of Fishkill Police along with the NYS State Police are investigating a hit and run personal injury auto accident. On Friday, December 3rd, at approximately 6:20 pm, 911 dispatched officers to Rt 52 and Millholland Drive for a car versus pedestrian auto accident. Upon arrival officers found a 63-year-old female on the shoulder of the roadway. The woman was clearly injured but was having difficulty articulating what happened. The woman was ultimately transported by Mobil Life EMS to Mid-Hudson Regional Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Witnesses described seeing an “older model” gray Subaru Legacy stopping to assist the woman. The operator is described as an older white male with gray hair who stopped to assist the woman but left the scene travelling west on Route 52, prior to officers’ arrival. Investigators were able to locate pieces of a vehicle, possibly involved, at the scene. Video from numerous cameras in the area are being reviewed.
